It seems that fungi are more easily killed than bacteria. Herbicide, fungicide, tillage, too much salty commercial fertilizer, all kills fungi. One way to get beneficial fungi is stop killing them. Also, compost tea or other added fungi can help get population going again. I tried a biofungicide for the first time this year. Enthused to see how it does.
