| Way too high. There's no real fixed cost with the licenses per year. P137 doesn't expire. P107 is free to upkeep. 44807 exemptions expire every 2 years and need to be renewed, which is free (if doing it yourself) or pay someone like $500 to renew them for you. State licenses vary, but don't amount to much, maybe ~$100-200/yr?
Insurance is where your costs are and depends on how many drones you run and if you have hull insurance. My premiums just went down this year and for hull and liability it's less than $4,000. Would be under $2,000 if I opted for just liability. | |
