North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast | There is a report out that has been now squashed, that during the investigation a witness who didn’t know any of the teens stated he was drinking ‘heavily’ when the search for him was going on.
There has been no discussion of the fact that lots of alcohol was being consumed on that island, only that the family demands that there is racism involved in the ‘killing’ of Nolan Wells.
As a parent, I understand wanting to know what happened but claiming racism to get Democratic headlines is wrong. The people of Ocean Springs deserve better than that kind of rhetoric.
The family should stand down and accept the fact that a group of teenage boys went out to the island unsupervised and drank themselves stupid, resulting in a tragic ACCIDENT!
