Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | A lady who was wanted on a drug charge decided to try and flee the police in a stolen van.
A drug warrant is bad enough, but during the pursuit, she hits and kills a small-town marshal, killing him while he is trying to deploy stop sticks.
The town of Lynn is six or seven miles NE of me, and the marshal, Brad Fisher, had served as marshal for 27 years. Plus being on the volunteer fire dept, an EMS, Street Superintendent, and the kids' baseball coach.
As the old saying goes, hopefully this woman winds up under the jail.
