Subject: RE: Memory loss and sleep

I have fought sleep issues for quite a few years. It seems like the causes change as I age. Quite a few years back I stumbled onto Stash Gominak's Right Sleep program and that helped immensly. I would encourage you to look it up. That worked for quite some time, but about three years back I started waking up around 2 AM or so and not being able to reliably get back to sleep. Started searching for answers again and stumbled onto Barbera Oneil's talk about circadian rithym. Began walking for 20 min or so first thing in the AM and my sleep improved greatly.
More recently, the waking up in the middle of the night started again, I ended up at a
"integrative and preventative medical practice" looking for relief. Among other things, the prescribed Magnesium L threonate. My sleep improved greatly.
I understand exactly what you mean about not being able to function on 3 or 4 hours of sleep. Between just plain fatigue and put the brain fog on top of it, it sucks. As mentioned above, check out Dr Gominaks website, I pasted the address below, even if you dont go ahead with her recomendations, the information is valuable.
