NC Ohio | A 20 year old lost in a bin in our region lately. It is obvious that there is not enough being done on the farm to prevent these accidents. We have the technology to equip bins with switches that dont allow augers to run while a door is open ,for example. and remote controls to shut down equipment from inside a grain bin.
And education by groups like Farm Bureau should be a annual priority. It is gut wrenching to hear of such unnecessary loss of life | |
