Summer storms are much harder to predict on a local level unless it is a major system. They are called pop-up showers for a reason.
You are free to use the Farmers Almanac or whether your bunions hurt or whatever.
Personally I really respect Snodgrass’s efforts based on an amazing set of data we have available.
