 East of Broken Bow | Another thing to consider, the diamond blades are steel, with a diamond abrasive bonded to it. It is not made of abrasive material like a traditional cut-off wheel, so they are almost impossible to shatter.
I was at a demonstration where a guy had an angle grinder, would get it up to speed, then hit the blade on the flat side with a hammer. He did it enough times, the blade bent, but it never shattered. | |
