I read those discussions frequently.
I pay zero attention to anything beyond seven days. Even the 2 day precipitation forecast has been wrong many times this year for my location. For Monday of this week, it went from 60% for heavy rain/severe storms a couple days out, to 70% Monday morning - 40% - 30% - 20% - 40% - 90% with severe storm warning. I got .03 and zero wind.
