CFI is out of Springfield, MO. Many trucking companies will pay for training if you sign a contract to stay with them for a certain time. It used to be 3 years. I don't know what it is now.

I don't know what they are like now, but CFI used to be one of the better freight haulers. One thing is for sure. He better be prepared to WORK. If not, he won't last long. Many of those larger companies are of the opinion that there's a truck driver on every street corner. If one quits or gets fired, just grab another one.

Also, trucking is a LOT different than it was when I left it in 1998. I would do it again before I starved, but I would have to be pretty hungry.
