The IBEW is a trade union that has been around for years, and it exists to help its members with working conditions and pay.
No, you do not work for a union. The union probably has an apprenticeship program that they want your grandson to join.
The union works for its members, and having that protection is not a bad thing if you are a trained electrician. But you do have to pay union dues.
There ain't no free lunch.
Any one on here have any expirience or opinion on IBEW?
