Memphis, TN | Background: My Grandson just graduated and went to work for a local well repsected company under their apprentice program. Yesterday after he got off work he was approaced by an IBEW person. He asked for my advice and opinion on persuing of which I have zero experience to offer, plus no one to reach out to for advice. Does anyone here have any information that would be willing to share?
Apparently he would be working directly for the union? I would like to be able to give him some insights to help him make a good decision but in my 53 year career with zero union involvement.
I'm hopeful to get some insight to pass along.
