Razor will help a lot. I have one in my 1680 that's only been used one year in beans and it just ate em, 25' 1020. I swear it helps even in corn. Cover plates on at least front concave, maybe on front section on the 2nd one. Can open up concave a bit more. I had a 1460 with a AFX rotor and the 25' 1020 and unless you were in bad green beans it would go though beans great. I now almost never run beans at less than 700 rpm on the rotor. I've done this with 9% beans, just open concave more if you have splits. You must take cover plates out for corn. Sold the 1460 several years ago and have 2188 that just had the Razor installed. Had put Kile bars on the Specialty rotor a couple of years ago and it did well in green stem beans, It will interesting to use the 21 in beans this year. I wouldn't get rid of a combine that you know well. Forgot to add, I did turn up the 1460 I think one turn on the pump, made a new combine out of it, ran that way for a lot of years, I don't think you would need to do that by adding some of these items.
