Thank you Paul, very well said. Solar and wind still have big issues and that is that you can’t 100 percent rely on it. Even cooperative buying at a wholesale may not be a very good deal for them. My wife’s uncle used to run our local power plant that relied on coal and oil. It was a plant that was getting old and it was just kept around for peak generation. I don’t remember now how long he had to get it online but it was minutes , not hours or the company got a huge fine as they were required to provide so much power to the grid. With your solar panels all you do is let them do their thing without much worry. If you have a problem , you just don’t get paid, you don’t have a fine.
