Most holes that are found are in a hard bank big hollow log or root wad
If there is a fish using a hole the floor will be cleaned out a will be hard
To get a big fish you’ve got to have a big hole
Big enough to fit your body into
Most times you need to have someone hold your feet and run you in
When your in there be ready for action
Yes they bite and shake hard but hang on tight to their bottom of their mouth
Somehow the people hanging on to you know you’ve got him caught and will pull you out
We’ve been with turtles and beavers and snakes
But only once have any of us actually been bitten by a beaver
But a big fish can hurt you pretty good too
My son actually got a toe broke blocking off a hole
A fish will tear up your skin real good too and the wound will ooze out for days
The biggest fish we have caught was 72 pounds but there have been bigger ones caught
When fishing this way it’s just you and the fish no hooks gloves or other tools allowed that’s our rules
Heard of a man who tied a hook on his arm and got ahold of a big fish that he couldn’t get away from and drowned
