Wheelersburg and Lancaster, Ohio | Lots of companies “forget” to terminate liens. Especially if something gets paid off early. I think I had 12 liens that were all just “clerical errors” one time. I haven’t checked lately. I was getting a new loan from farm credit and they said I had too many liens. Four of the 12 were them. All on loans that had been paid off. A couple of those loans had been paid off for several years. A corn planter I paid off early had three, all for the same loan. One from farm credit, one from their processing company, and one from the dealer. Dealer said farm credit just adds their name sometimes. Man now I’m mad at farm credit again. |
