every few days it won't maintain its WiFi connection. ........Unplug it & plug back in and it's fine for a couple days.
I have a weather station with erratic behavior, but its the router that gets rebooted. Once rebooted, updates are good for days/weeks, or just one day. Example below shows missing updates, then continuous updates.
Reboot the router...
Unknown if a router issue, RF interference, or a weather station issue.
