We have a couple repair people within 30 and 45 minutes. Last time our Samsung TV needed repair, cost us $100. (If John Deere fixed TVs, they wouldn't have even looked at it for that.)

...that was a couple years ago. Now it's having what seems to be a software problem--like code that gets overwritten with garbage--because every few days it won't maintain its WiFi connection. (Actually it maintains the connection, just buffers a while & then times out retrieving data.) Unplug it & plug back in and it's fine for a couple days. I haven't called anybody about that yet, but not bad for an ~8 yo. TV....likely time for a new one.
