Meaning you could use the entirety of the electrical grid infrastructure without paying for it when needed. People with brains eventually figured out this was a lopsided deal and corrected it.
If every customer has solar on net metering eventually the utility goes broke because they generate no revenue to maintain the grid and pay for generation.
In short, it’s unsustainable.
