Columbia Basin, Ephrata, WA

Got up this AM,quickly closed the windows, turned on the fireplace.Temp was in the lower 40"s.Highs in the 70's ,,later this week on shore flow ,,60"s.No issue with heat on the coast of Maine ,,,we only get 2 or3 days above 90 a year in this county. Why it was named vacationland as before AC the rich would flock to the Maine coast.

The Oregon coast is the same way. A few years ago it hit 115 inland but within 3 or so miles of the water the high was 65.

Here in the desert it gets hot, but the dew point rarely gets above the 50’s. Humid today at 28%, lowest I’ve seen is 2%.
