SE SD | Otherguy2 - 7/27/2026 11:53 Seems like one disappointment after another in the last few years. I was hoping to have a good retirement plan in place by now. My wife's declining health is weighing heavy on my mind. Other disappointments have just left me struggling to be optimistic. Prayer help for awhile, I'm sad to say I don't get the comfort I once did from it.
when I didn't make it about Me. it changed the attitude I carried. When I looked and found the opportunity to serve others it took
the focus of my own pity party.
They don't have to be big life changing things..........I think its 1st Thessalonians that tells us to "pray always".... the things we fret about, are out of our hands. |
