Watching the Cardinal's game Sunday afternoon, announcer said "feels like temperature" was 119 degrees. When I looked, Springfield was 113.
Those jerseys don't look that "breathable" or cool to me and a fair number of the players are wearing long sleeve T shirts too.
I don't know how the umpires can take it, several weeks ago the home plate umpire had to be replaced during a game I was watching. | |
