Subject: RE: salt in coffee

Chatham Ontario.
We were on salty well water all my life. City water line was put in by our farm so we hooked up because of constant corrosion issues from the well. First time we brewed a pot of coffee with the new water, we found it to have no taste at all. Wife and I looked at each other wondering" what are we gonna do now." A few shakes of salt on the grounds of the next batch before brewing and all was good again. Doesn't take much. I've seen signs by the coffee maker in a couple offices in town that instruct to staff to add a certain amount of salt to the grounds when starting a pot of coffee.
