If M$ didn't have some much frig fragging telemetry baked into every official MS application that can't be removed without breaking the OS - maybe the surface area for penetrations would be smaller.
I can't be the only dinosaur here that remembers earlier Windows versions that with a cleaned up install would run like 8 background processes. I use W11 for some tasks and stripped down to 'stark naked' it a roughly 110 processes running. | |
