Central ND | 3 weeks ago things looked about as good as ive seen them. Now 0 rain since then and multiple days at 95-105, and a bunch more coming, and wind on top of it. Wheat and canola were trying to fill, lots of empty heads in the wheat. I dont even want to imagine what the corn will look like a week from now...... its honestly the fastest ive ever seen a crop go backwards this bad, brutal. Oh, and the last rain we did have came with a bunch of the 'slow release' moisture and beat thousands of acres into mulch. | |
