I just spent two days working on a friend's ghosted Gleaner. Any notion that they are "built for the long haul" should be dispelled by a good night's sleep and sobriety. They have their place, they work well in certain conditions, and they are simple. But to suggest that they are more durable than other options in the market reveals only inexperience with other options.
