North Carolina | I’m in the early stages of building a grain bin (21’ 9 ring 7500bushel) and I’d like to put it where I have an exising 6” thick concrete pad that is 2 years old and is on cut soil.
The plan is to pour 6” more concrete with plenty of rebar and set the bin. I’m in the southeast so freezing/thawing isn’t an issue like in northern states.
My question for agtalk is will putting a slab on a slab work or should I find a new spot? | |
