I have also had dirt work into my Redwings with composite toe. I pierced the inside liner with my jackknife and was able to work a lot of the dirt out through the slit I made, it’s time consuming and tires your hand out, but was able to get most of it out. The Redwings I just got are a different model, so we’ll see if they do that or not.
