Subject: RE: Winco and Winpower generators

100 miles north of the NYC crapper
We always had winpowers for backup on the dairy.
First one was a 15 kw we bought back in the 1960s. It still works and is used at my daughter’s house. We outgrew that one and got a 25 but that couldn’t handle all the silos, manure pump, vacuum pump or milk tank.
That one fried. We got a 50kw. I had a winco for my house but I replaced that with a harbor freight 8500 gas powered one. Like it much better I keep it out in the shed and back feed into my welder plug with it. Just gotta throw the transfer switch. No more having to get a tractor running or having to move 3-4 things the generator was parked behind back in the corner.
I’m too cheap to get an automatic one.
