Northeastern Pa. | Sunbury Ford in Sunbury Pa. has always found parts for our L8000. I forgot to see where you're at. Flat land the ford would be fine for what you're doing. All hills here and ours with the non-turbo 3208 is ok but I'm not trying to go 60mph either. It's been a trouble free truck for the most part. I've had it 25 years at least. Still looks good. Take the kick panels out of the doors and spray under coating or rust preventor in there. That's where they rust out. I just leave that panel out of ours. Load for load weight the IH with the 466 is pretty even in power. Did a side by side with one up a hill on 3 lane highway. | |
