Subject: RE: Estes Concaves Losses

north dakota
We had similar issues on a completely different machine. JOHN Deere walker machine . Put in an aftermarket cylinder and concave. The losses were heavy in . barley. We were told to really open things up and slow down cylinder because it was an aggressive setup. But after fighting in and trying all kinds of different settings I started tightening things up with the threshing part and that seemed to help a lot . Still doesnt seem that it should have to be as aggressive as I have it set as far as concave clearance and cylinder speed but I'm pretty convinced that was the problem. It was.nt getting thrashed out in the cylinder
