I would agree, we used to have L series Fords and loved them but parts availability and rust are two biggest issue, Ford cab big and roomy but not as tight as some. I also agree on the engine and transmission, there are better options. 6 speed doesn’t sound good at all. Parts have been non available for many, many years so non out there but used and some aftermarket. I would look at a more modern pre emission truck.
