Subject: Farm Fans CF/AB 320 dryer: front vs. rear load

Michigan
I've started the process of installing my new-to-me grain dryer. It's currently set up to fill with wet grain from the front, so directly above the fan/burner.

My life would be a lot easier if I could fill wet grain from the rear of the dryer (the end opposite the burner).

I've got the operators manual and it says "wet grain must enter the dryer at the rear end of the top auger since the top auger moves the grain forward toward the paddle switch (except for special front loading units)"

So, can I just reverse the top auger motor and swap the fill hopper and paddle switch end for end? Or do I really have the "special front loading unit" which I did not know was a "thing" until today...
