I mentioned in crop talk but have one variety, Brevant 05D47, that has it bad. Half the blame has to go to just the lack of branches to the tassel this variety has. A non trivial amount have only a main stem with no branches at all and others with only very small ones. Not too worried personally as we split our planter and the other variety has no issues.
Has anybody seen tight tassels this year
