Locally in northern RRV we are a month from harvest. Filling now and I think this hot week has stressed the crop some. Lost some bushels but gained some protein most likely. I don’t think we are high pro 14+ or low pro 12-. Yields will vary widely do to planting date and moisture.
It’s not a bumper crop but definitely not a bust unless this hot and dry continues another week. | |
