Hennepin, IL | Seems like its everywhere here this year to varying degrees. I havent seen corn "struggle" to shoot tassels like this since 2012. Im not drawing any comparisons between the 2 growing seasons beyond that anecdote though. Looking out across the tops of some corn around, youd swear it was drought stressed and trying to tassel but the ground is wet on top yet. Weird. Im not gonna worry about it and call for a poor crop yet, just not sure what to think of all that. | |
