Have you checked the tension on your seed plates to see if they are rubbing the housing and putting to much torque on the clutch. I was just wondering because I have a 2010 with 1800 ac and no problems (knock on wood) but when putting the estes on I was told to be sure and check the plates for the proper clearance or problems such as yours would happen. After adjusting every unit they were still to tight so precision sent me new rubber seals for the vac doors and that really loosened thing up.
