NC KS
You have me pegged pretty good. Those towns are north of me in Nebraska.

We were getting 0-.25 when east of Belleville go the big ones. Pastures and highway ROW where brown through a good part of May. We had around 4" in a 10 day period at the end of May, 1st week of June. Didn't run any water in ponds. We had just enough after that to get herbicides watered in but pastures and ROW are going brown again.
We are somewhat used to dry stretches but has been uncommon to have them in May except in last few years.
