NS Canada | 15 ton horst running gear, main frame is 4x10" .188 and the cross rails are 3x5 .188. 28 ft frame, with 27" between a dozen rails, allows for six 60" bales, with 18 foot reaches. Weighs about 5000 empty. I bought a 48 and a 24 foot piece of 4x10 and only had a few feet left over, but I put a couple more cross members in than a bought wagon.
I doubt I saved much in the end building it myself however. Since I bought pre bent cross rails and had them shipped down from ontario. I did order the .188 rails vs .125 or .150 though. Tires I grabbed from local truck shop.
