I always parked across the slope with the front wheels turned uphill.
Thats what I tend to do now, but there are times where I don't want to be crossways in a fields for take off, on our wet ground & leaving marks.

we have one wagon tongue with a 90 degree bend in it from that kind of incident. Let us know how it works.
Yeah, a couple patched poles around here too from similar events.
