SC Iowa | I removed the wheels from one side of the hopper and mounted a long 1" shaft with a couple lug garden tiller wheels/tires. Direct drive a hydraulic motor on the shaft. I use the tractor remote to move it but could easily put a valve on the tube to move it. Much simpler and more reliable than electric.
I move the auger from bin to bin with the hopper on the ground and use the hydraulics to move the hopper along with it. | |
