Subject: How to neutralize salt on pastures

Kingdom of Callaway - Fulton, Mo 65251
I am feeding some bred dry cows out on pastures. Basically supplementing them as they dont have enough grass.

The ration includes potato waste with some salt from potato chip seasoning. I am noticing where I fed them on the ground it is killing, or slowing way down the grass regrowth. I have gone to feeding in bottomless bunks to minimize the ground area affected, but I would like to try and neutralize some of the affected areas. Especially on my sister's farm!

Would broadcasting some lime on the strips help any?
