north-central Indiana west of Fulton
There are very few prime drying windows to get hay dry in 3-4 days in the spring/summer. We did our 2nd cutting alfalfa last week. Was down 4 days and would not get dry enough to not add acid. ….85 degrees and humid. Baled some grass hay today , and it dried good in 3 days. A bale wrapper is the only way to bale hay in a day or 2. We have not had all that rain either. Canopy top is fantastic for open tractors…..umbrella is good too.
