Hillbilly beef man - 7/8/2026 18:07 Jim, Do you have trouble with your plastic tearing of you run it through all 3 stretching rollers? I just got the same wrapper and with flavorseal plastic it tears about every 10 bales it is run it across all 3 rollers.

If you have the same wrapper (Anderson IFX 720) it is sold with either 2 or 4 stretchers. In  my application I've found I run just 2 of the 4. I keep spares often partial rolls of plastic on the other unused 2 stretchers. Running 2 I just run the ring faster. It seems to me the best reason for using 4 is if you are wrapping long continuous tubes of bales where you run the ring slower and avoid running out half way along the tube. My tubes are shorter I'd just as soon have my rolls run out rather than having 4 near empty rolls sitting on the machine between uses. Damn rolls are heavy and tough to replace by myself.

Once I get a tube started I rarely have a roll of plastic break. I use a brand from Canada which I buy from my wrapper dealer. Not sure what the brand name is.

Rereading your question you are probably referring to the 3 rollers on each stretcher. In that case do you have it threaded exactly as  on the decal? I did break some plastic when I first got the wrapper. I found that I didn't have it threaded correctly, it needs to go OUTSIDE the 4th small diameter black roller. Once I got that right, no more random plastic breaks. Hope this helps.

I think that I have it right according to the diagram on the sticker. It does end up on the outside of the small black roller. I am running it almost full throttle. I will try slowing it down on the next try.
