scmn | I have owned shares in a local ethanol plant since 1999.
These places run 24/7 so maintenance and updating never stops. You are always trying to get rid of bottlenecks in capacity which creates another bottleneck downstream.
We are always in expansion mode, even though the footprint of the plant isn't really expanding much, but that's going to change in the near future.
Successful existing plants are probably all expanding capacity internally.
Efficiencies are happening in all areas.
