I agree it can be done but we seldom can pick the right day here.  Forage is ready and will bolt to seed in a few hot days. Humidity is high, ground is wet, not much wind. Wrapping is the other option between thunderstorms. As Moose will confirm.

I tried tedding but that didn't work in a one-man operation. My JD630 moco just won't lay it out to the full width of cut. But it is a reliable heavy duty moco for my rough ground conditions so it will probably be around as long as I am.
