Subject: RE: Sorgum sudan after wheat

Central Kentucky
We just finished first cutting of sorghum sudan grass about 10 days ago. Cut it with a NH discbine followed by a tedder that afternoon. Raker and baled it the next afternoon with a JD 567 set at 52" and wrapped it with an Anderson inline wrapper the next morning. Made 62 bales on 24 acres. Added potash and nitrogen and then got 4" of rain. We can see it growing. Probably will be cutting it again in a couple weeks at the rate it is going.

Just my experience.
