NW Wisconsin | Cheap feed and record high prices for me its a no brainer.
I feed on stuffers to so the quicker to get them acclimated to feed the better. Weaning is a lot easier as they arent dependent on the mother.
You need to find a feed that calves will eat or its worthless. Usually this means some starter with molasses to intice them to eat it. Once you get them going its pretty easy from there.
