So you think all these elevators like cargill, Bartlett, etc are losing money storing grain? Sure doesn't look like it. As a farmer I treat my stored grain like they do. Hedge it, roll it and capitalize on basis improvement. Here we can make them pay most years on just basis improvement alone.
You think much of that grain isn’t priced? That the grain is just naked? |
