Frisco, TX | What do you want to see or do? Kids along? Your interests, ages? We're from Illinois, still find plenty of things to do here even in the heat of the summer.
*Perot Museum of Nature & Science
*Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden (esp mornings)
*Dallas World Aquarium
*AT&T Cowboy stadium tour
Dallas Zoo
Universal Kids Resort in Frisco - just opened 7/1
Golf? PGA Omni Golf Resort Frisco
*Dealey Plaza and Sixth Floor Museum
*GWB Presidential Library
*Northpark Center (high end shopping like Nieman Marcus, dining)
*Favorite- Downtown Grapevine. Restored, laid back. Good strolling, great shops, dining, wineries. Lots of free parking. From there ride the train to the Ft. Worth Stockyards and back.
*Plenty of A/C options and low-walking activities in the list above. Here, you "stroll" and stay hydrated to manage the heat. The big theme parks and venues like that would be the worst in mid-summer. Come and have fun!
